In Denmark, for the first time since the beginning of the CoV pandemic, more than a thousand new infections have been recorded within one day. As the Danish health authority announced yesterday, 1,056 new cases were registered within 24 hours. At the beginning of the week, new restrictions had come into force in Denmark.
Since then, alcohol may no longer be sold in Denmark after 22.00 hours. Meetings with more than ten participants are prohibited. From Thursday onwards, the obligation to wear masks, which is already in force in public transport, bars and restaurants, will be extended to all public spaces.
All in all, more than 41,000 people in Denmark with its 5.8 million inhabitants have been infected with the coronavirus so far, more than 700 of them have died.
